Our Process

1

Damage assessment

We probe surrounding glass and core to find the true extent of the damage.

2

Color match

Custom gelcoat tint mixed in-shop — most repairs become invisible.

3

Lay-up and cure

Proper resin, proper schedule, climate-controlled cure in our covered bay.

4

Fair, sand, polish

Block-faired by hand, wet-sanded through 3000 grit, polished to a mirror.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you match my gelcoat color exactly?
Yes — in 95% of cases the repair is invisible to the eye. Older sun-faded gelcoat sometimes requires a small surrounding blend.
What about blisters on the bottom?
We grind out blisters, dry the laminate, and re-build with epoxy and barrier coat. Done right, blisters don't come back.
