Frequently Asked Questions
Wax or ceramic coating — which should I get?
Wax lasts 3–6 months and is great for boats kept under cover. Ceramic coating lasts 2–3 years, repels saltwater far better, and is the smart pick for any Bay Area slip.
Can you restore badly oxidized gelcoat?
Yes — most chalky, dull hulls come back beautifully with a 3-step compound and polish. We've revived 20-year-old hulls to near-mirror finish.
